Dedication Day

Well as you all know Sunday my son, Josiah, was dedicated. Our cousin Ella was too. So I just I would post some more photos of them together. Ella has changed a lot. She is beginning to smile with a lot of effort.

I couldn't decide which photo to post they are really close. It's funny to see how stiff Josiah is. You could tell he didn't want to drop her. Josiah loves Ella he kisses her every time he sees her. Anyway I think these are sweet pictures I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.........

Josiah' Dedication

I figured it was about time to get my Son dedicated. I have been planning this for awhile but something always came up. Now that he's two it's time. My little boy doesn't seem to so little anymore I know he is a toddler but those precious baby moments are just great memories.

It makes it a little more special that our cousin Ella is also being dedicated. She is much, much younger. I have made a lot of changes in my life and I want my son to know God and live in his ways. And I hope that he won't struggle with his relationship with God as I have . Learning to walk with God is a bumpy path. But it is a small price to pay if salvation is at the end. Better late than never!!!!

Learning to Walk with God

Today in church we talked about David and about how life moves in cycles. You have your lowest , lows and your high points but also your time in the desert. My lowest low for me was two years ago and for those who know me well you know the torment that was.
Pastor Jeff talked how David was at his lowest and isolated himself away from people he loved I know what that is like because I was there I was in so deep and hurting so bad I didn't know who I was or even where to turn.
David's family was there for him just as mine I learned was there for me. He also said that Saul's son came and strengthened God's hand for him. That came first as my young daughters words as she said mama come to church with me. (from the mouth of a baby) Then by the arms that were wide open for me of my cousin and her husband.F ollowed by a church I have been going to for two years now and my home team.
I have finally did it, I have found God even though he was always there. Looking back I saw him all the time just didn't believe.
Now I have been baptized am a member of the praise choir at my church which I enjoy . Nothing like praising God by doing something you love. After all it was God who gave me the gift to do so. Even though I still struggle everyday God still blessing me to this day.
And to my daughter , my cousins, the members of my home team and Broadway Ave. Baptist Church (Bridgepoint Church, yeah!!!) a special thanks for showing me my way and for standing by me as I learn to walk with God.**********
